Doug is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in implementing cultural transformations, building high-performing management teams, and working effectively with boards in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Having served in positions as CEO, President, EVP, CMO and CFO, he understands the complex nature of executive roles in today’s business environment.

Certified and trained in executive coaching through American University’s Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance program and a Myers & Briggs (MBTI) Certified Practitioner, Doug specializes in one-on-one executive coaching in CEO Onboarding, CEO Executive Coaching, and Board Development.

Experience

Prior to forming ECL Strategies, LLC, Doug was the Executive Director and President of the Network Branded Prepaid Card Association (NBPCA), the premier trade association serving the prepaid debit card industry.

Preceding his tenure with NBPCA, Doug held executive positions with Blue Yield, The American Automobile Association (AAA), Advanta Corporation, MBNA, and CIGNA. His responsibilities included business line operations, finance, product development and marketing. Doug also has significant experience managing a P&L, and reporting to a board of directors.

In addition to his coaching credentials, Doug is a business graduate of West Chester University, and holds an MBA from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences (now Thomas Jefferson University). He is based in the Washington, DC metro area and calls Orlando, Florida home for part of the year.
